HELP - File associations Posted in 27th, 01/2006 07:21 by blueforce
Hello Guys,

I really need some help with this, I recently installed dbmanager to try it out, I have since uninstalled it but I am still getting loads of options left behind from it when I right click in a folder and goto 'New' there is a list of DB files, how do i get rid of this?

Best Regards,
Fred.

Hi,

The uninstaller should take care of this automatically. As a matter of fact when an application is removed it should remove also the File associations. See that those things are not controlled by DBManager. You may try reinstalling and uninstalling using the Control Panel => Remove Programs.
You can remove the file associations by clicking on Folder Options and Deleting the associations left out.
