Hi, We are a business consulting, IT Solutions and Services organization with operations in UAE, Qatar and India. We are urgently looking for a Business Analyst – IT Enhancements for one of our clients, a leading financial organization in UAE. Scope of Work: • Assist in the development and implementation of enhancements and upgrades for the package-based and bespoke solutions within the financial institution. • Work closely with IT staff and end users to identify business weaknesses and efficiency opportunities and subsequently to recommend and implement enhancements and processes to address these weaknesses and inefficiencies. • Assist in the evaluations of existing or new systems, processes, procedures and techniques to establish process models • Assist in the development, co-ordination and management of the user acceptance testing (including integration, volume and functionality testing) of the enhancements and system upgrades being implemented and all related systems, including assisting the business to develop detailed test strategies and plans. • Work closely alongside IT, business control, and operations to convert user requirements into IT functional specifications. • Work with management in respect of liasing with external suppliers to ensure that business interests are comprehensively met • Prepare and develop user procedures and guidelines Knowledge: • Appropriate degree and industry accreditation • Extensive business knowledge – 5 - 8 years minimum in similar industry • System analytics skills – 5 years minimum • Data-base design – 5 years minimum • Knowledge of CA Desktop Tools including Remote Control Option, Softwar Delivery Option and Asset Management Option is strongly desirable • Knowledge of CCC Harvest, as well as an excellent knowledge of Unix and Windows would also be a distinct advantage. • Programming and systems development skills would be an advantage • Data base development using Oracle and Sybase would be an advantage • Crystal Reports or similar reporting tool experience would be an advantage • Project Management Skill and documentation skill are a necessity Should be able to join within 2-4 weeks from the date of selection.
