Task Builder and DAO Import |
Posted in 01th, 10/2007 05:05 by sales |
I used the DAO Import Wizard to import data from a Access db into a MySQL db and it worked fine, but when I saved the Import Wizard file and tried to run it through the Task Builder it did not work. I used the data import wizard in the task builder but when I executed it it did not import the data. What I want to do is set up a task so I can execute it through a scheduled task to import/export data between an Access db and a MySQL one.
Also is there a way to just import new records that have been added to a table so that just the new info is added.
I appreciate all the help that I can get. Daniel / |

Hi,
It should work. Make it sure that all options in the saved wizard are correctly. Optionally you can copy new data into the table using queries.
- Select a table and create a query to collect the new data you want
- Select the target table and that's it
