| Hi,
It should work. We have tested all our products with Firebird 2.0 during developmnent. Now the API for Firebird hasn't been changed much, but if you find anything unusual and not properly working just let us know and we will investigate the problem more carefully. | I'm also evaluating DBTools Manager Standard 3.2.4.
It can't open firebird 2 using the latest server (2.0.1) see the error message reported below. Can't open Server 2 Version WI-V2.0.1.12855 Firebird 2.0. Using WI-V6.3.2.4731 Firebird 1.5 Client.. Please retest your software with the latest firebird server. Alternatively should I trial the pro version which I think has a later version number - does it support the latest firebird server? Also I noticed after running 3.2.4 a popup came up to say 'new version' but it's actually the same version I'm running.. and clicking it takes me back to the same page I originally downloaded from (with 3.2.4 link to download.com). This is rather silly - please fix the update mechanism. |
