Editing Text Wizard Definitions Posted in 29th, 11/2005 08:04 by victor
Hi,

Is there a way for editing a text import definition that already exists.

The amount of fields is quite large and took a while to define in the first place.

I need to edit the destination table name and the path and filenanme of the csv file.

Any info is appreciated.

Regards

Victor Leonard.

Hi,

Unfortunatelly there isn't. I took note of the request and as soon as possible we will implement it. Next week we will release the DBManager 3.2.0. If there is time enough we'll try to implement for this version, if not you will see it in the next release (3.2.1).

Hi again,

My mistake. There is indeed a way to edit a saved definition. Follow the steps:

- Select Workspace=>Tools
- Select Text Import Wizards
- Select the wizard you want
- Click on the Properties button on the toolbar

The same wizard will start and bring the default data previously saved.
