Table Objects list |

We've using the latest build (3.1.1) and have a slight problem: the 'type' field in the Table Objects list is displaying USER for each table even though they are mostly MyISAM. It is not a huge issue but irritating because I like being able to see easily if someone has created a table using the wrong engine.
Any thoughts?

Hi,
This was changed for a simple reason. When dealing with remote connections and the database has a lot of tables it may take forever to list all tables with complete information. To handle that more nicely we changed the behaviour to only load table information for a single table which is now a lot faster. This change impacted in a lot of DBManager's features as table listing is used in a lot of places.
We will study that a little bit more and see if we can change this behaviour to be more precise.
Best Regards,

Thanks for the quick reply - I understand (and support) the reasons for doing this but some means of seeing the storage engines for all tables at a glance would be exremely useful.
kind regards
