Run Multiple commands |
Posted in 25th, 02/2005 09:15 by b3booner |
In the previous version of DBTools I was running 1.x - I was able to put in multiple SQL commands in the Query Editor and run all of them. I now have 3.0.2 (lots of nice improvments) - but when I attempt to do something similiar it isn't working (probably my ignorance).
I'm running MySQL 4.1.10.
For example, in the current sql editor I have:
insert into author VALUES('John Public');
inserr into author VALUES('Mary Public');
When I hit execute, I get an error:
"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ';
However, if I run these lines individually it works fine.
So I'm missing something - just not sure what. Someone clue me in.
