multiple queries in one window Posted in 12th, 01/2005 08:26 by mveltre82
hi!

the functionality of executing multiple queries in one query-editor which was implemented in a version of 2.x is not included into 3.x.
Now i have to mark each query and press F5.

I thought this is maybe only in the enterprise version so i purchased a licence in december.. but i wont work with it, too ;-(

So.. could you please include this functionality in one of your next realeases of 3.x, too ?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

This feature will be back in 3.1.0 with other new features.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hi,

i think this is one of our most important missed features,
because we have many of long SQL-scripts,
so we can't use DBTools in our business at the moment.

Hi,

If you use a lot of queries with multiple statements I guess you probably have generated dumps to load tables and data.
if this is the case you are able to run these queries by right clicking on a database and selecting the "Load Dump" menu option.
This allows you to load a generated SQL/DDL dump by DBManager or any other client application.

Hope that helps,
